Midnight Pounce

A moonlit trail home.

Midnight Pounce is a cozy 2D cat platform adventure through a lantern-lit city. Leap between rainlit rooftops, climb ivy and ladders, and follow the trail through gardens, bakeries, archives and workshops.

There is yarn to find, room for a little mischief, and another warm window around the corner.

Explore the night

Make your way through 35+ levels, with optional routes and side rooms for curious paws. Venture into a toy-rescue workshop, cross a timed bridge, and bring a stolen toy mouse back to safety.

Make every leap count

Hold Jump for a higher leap, pounce onto mice and spiders to rebound, pull yourself onto ledges, and add a backflip while airborne. Find a comfortable route through each level, then return to chase a faster clear or a higher score.

Choose your cat

Unlock six coat appearances and 37 sweaters with the yarn you collect. Go stargazing in Moon & Stars, try Bumblebee, or dress for the occasion in Emergency Sardines. Your outfit changes the look; movement stays the same.

Keep a little progress

Completing a level saves its collected yarn and unlocks the next stage. Replay unlocked levels, work toward 12 challenges and level medals, and keep your five best scores and fastest completed runs for each level.

The atmosphere is cozy, and the platforming asks for timing. Falling or touching an enemy from the wrong side can restart the level. Collected yarn is saved when you finish the main level.

Downloadable for 64-bit Windows, Linux and Mac 0S (intel and M series) Play offline with progress saved on your device. No ads or real-money in-game purchases. Keyboard and mouse controls; English interface. Separate music and sound-effect volumes, plus a reduced camera effects option.

• Climb: W/S or Up/Down arrows beside ladders or ivy
• Enter a doorway: E, W or Up arrow while grounded
• Grab a ledge: two quick Jump presses near its edge
• Backflip: press the direction opposite your facing while airborne
• Pause: P or Escape
